ISLAMABAD: Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL) hosted an awareness seminar on the Protection against Harassment of Women in collaboration with the Federal Ombudsperson for Protection Against Harassment (FOSPAH) at its head office on Wednesday.
FOSPAH Ombudsperson Ms. Fauzia Viqar attended the session and was received by ZTBL President and CEO Mr. Tahir Yaqoob Bhatti. Employees from across the country took part, with senior management and branch staff joining both in person and via Zoom.
Ms. Fauzia Viqar delivered the keynote address, stressing the need for safe, respectful, and inclusive workplaces. Mr. Tahir Yaqoob Bhatti reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to workplace dignity and a strict zero-tolerance policy toward harassment.
Mr. Waqar Ahmed, Assistant Registrar at FOSPAH, and Ms. Momina Asif, Communications Officer, led detailed briefings on the Workplace Act, 2010. They explained the legal framework, reporting procedures, and institutional duties under the law. A Q&A session allowed employees to raise concerns and interact directly with the speakers.
The event concluded with an exchange of souvenirs, underscoring ZTBL’s continued commitment to maintaining a safe and equitable work environment for all employees.
