H.E. Rubab Mehdi, a seasoned legal professional and human-rights advocate, has officially taken the oath as the Provincial Ombudsperson (Khatoon Mohtasib) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Rubab Mehdi brings more than two decades of legal experience to her new role.
She previously served as Regional Commissioner at the Federal Ombudsman Secretariat for Protection Against Harassment (FOSPAH) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where she led awareness-raising sessions and initiatives to protect women from harassment in public and workplace settings, across the province. The Forum of Pakistan Ombudsman congratulates H.E. Mehdi on her appointment and anticipates robust cooperation in strengthening ombudsman services and facilitating Ms. Mehdi in promoting advancement and protection of women rights in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
