The Regional Office Rahim Yar Khan of the Office of the Ombudsman Punjab organized an awareness session at Government Associate College for Girls, Tehsil Sadiqabad, to educate students about the Ombudsman’s role in providing accessible and effective grievance redress mechanisms.
The session was conducted by Mr. Ali Akbar, Advisor, Regional Office Rahim Yar Khan, who briefed participants on the procedures for registering complaints and the mechanisms available for the timely resolution of public grievances. Students were also informed about the Ombudsman’s mandate in addressing complaints related to maladministration and protecting citizens’ rights through fair, impartial, and efficient complaint resolution.
The interactive session encouraged participants to make use of the Ombudsman’s services whenever they encounter issues of maladministration and emphasized the importance of awareness in promoting transparency, accountability, and good governance.
