HYDERABAD: On the special directives of Provincial Ombudsman Sindh Sohail Ahmed Rajput, Regional Director Ombudsman Sindh Hyderabad Syed Muhammad Sajjad Haider visited the Rural Health Center (RHC) Husri on Tuesday to review medical facilities and administrative affairs.

According to an official handout, the Regional Director inspected the health center along with Medical Officer Dr Arjun Kumar and examined the availability of medical services, staff attendance, medicines, record maintenance, and overall management.

During the inspection, Medical Officer Dr Faheem Qureshi was found absent from duty. The attendance register revealed that out of 16 employees posted at the RHC, only eight staff members were present at the time of the visit.

Dr Arjun Kumar informed the Regional Director that RHC Husri is providing healthcare services to around 10 small and large surrounding villages, serving an estimated population of nearly 40,000 people.
