PESHAWAR, August 2025 – Provincial Ombudsperson Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, H.E. Rubab Mehdi, convened a multi-stakeholder dialogue with NGOs and humanitarian partners to review the evolving flood situation across the province and strengthen coordinated relief efforts.

The meeting focused on ensuring the protection of women, children, persons with disabilities, the elderly, and other vulnerable groups. Stakeholders highlighted that the ongoing monsoon spells have displaced families, disrupted livelihoods, and created urgent humanitarian needs that require swift, conflict-sensitive action.
H.E. Rubab Mehdi emphasized that relief must be people-centred, dignified, and inclusive, ensuring that every household and “every daughter of Hawwa” receives assistance safely and respectfully. The dialogue underscored the critical importance of collective action to safeguard rights and provide timely support to flood-affected communities.
