PESHAWAR, August 2025 – At the Office of the Ombudsperson Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, H.E. Rubab Mehdi reiterated her guiding principle: “Every Individual Matters”.
In a meeting with the representative of the Manzil Foundation and transgender rights activist Arzoo, the Ombudsperson reaffirmed her commitment to ensuring dignity, respect, and harassment-free workplaces for the transgender community.
As part of this commitment, the Office of the Ombudsperson will strengthen its referral mechanism to connect victims and survivors from transgender communities with essential services including legal aid, psychosocial support, and other protective measures.
H.E. Rubab Mehdi emphasized that no one should be left behind in the pursuit of justice, equality, and human dignity.
