MIANWALI: The Office of the Ombudsman Punjab conducted an awareness session at Government Graduate College Mianwali to educate students about their rights and the complaint redressal mechanisms available under the Ombudsman system.

The session was led by Dr. Khalid Hussain, Advisor Regional Offices Mianwali and Bhakkar. He briefed participants on the mandate, jurisdiction, and working of the Ombudsman Punjab, emphasizing the provision of free, fair, and expeditious relief against maladministration.
Students were informed about the procedure for filing complaints, available channels for grievance submission, and the importance of awareness in ensuring accountability within public institutions. The helpline 1050 was also highlighted as an accessible platform for lodging complaints and seeking guidance.
The awareness session forms part of the Ombudsman Punjab’s broader outreach initiative aimed at promoting transparency, strengthening public confidence, and ensuring effective complaint resolution across the province.
