Peshawar | September, 2025 — The Office of the Provincial Ombudsman Khyber Pakhtunkhwa held its monthly review meeting under the chairmanship of Worthy Ombudsman Mr. Mutahir Zeb to assess institutional performance and strengthen citizen service delivery.

During the session, officials reported that 572 new complaints were registered in August 2025, while 255 complaints were successfully resolved within the month, reflecting the institution’s steady progress in addressing citizens’ grievances.

The meeting also endorsed measures to further digitize the Complaint Management System, ensuring faster, more efficient, and citizen-friendly facilitation. In addition, steps were approved to enhance public awareness campaigns and expand outreach so that more citizens are informed about their right to seek redress through the Ombudsman.

Mr. Mutahir Zeb commended the efforts of the participating teams and reaffirmed his office’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and good governance, stressing that the Ombudsman institution must remain accessible, responsive, and trustworthy for the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
