The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ombudsperson Office recorded significant achievements during December 2025, reflecting effective governance, swift justice, and strong institutional accountability across the province.

According to official information released by the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Ombudsperson’s Office demonstrated impactful performance by addressing public grievances through effective legal and administrative mechanisms. The institution continued to prioritize transparency, timely decision-making, and practical justice during the month.

One of the notable achievements highlighted was the resolution of a long-pending land dispute in Swabi, where ownership of 42 kanals of land was restored to a woman on merit. This case was cited as a strong example of justice-based decision-making and protection of women’s property rights.
Another achievements reported was the recovery and lawful distribution of inheritance property in Bajaur, where 75 marlas of inherited land were restored to deserving female heirs. The decision strengthened women’s property rights and reinforced transparency and justice through lawful intervention.
The Ombudsperson’s Office also ensured effective coordination with police, district administration, cybercrime units, and other relevant departments. Swift action was taken in matters involving threats to life, harassment, cyber harassment, and serious public complaints, ensuring immediate relief to the affected individuals.

In Peshawar, Nowshera, and Mardan, women were provided with financial relief and legal support through prompt decisions and field-level interventions. The office ensured that women’s complaints were addressed without delay, reinforcing public confidence in institutional justice.
Furthermore, the Ombudsperson’s Office facilitated lawful demarcation of land boundaries and ensured transparent determination of ownership through legal and investigative processes, helping prevent future disputes.
Throughout December 2025, the institution maintained its focus on women’s rights, immediate relief, and effective implementation of laws, reaffirming its role as a key pillar of good governance in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
