PESHAWAR: In a significant development for access to justice and women’s rights in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the office of Khatoon Mohtasib has successfully resolved a long-standing property dispute, ensuring the transfer of 31 kanal of land to the rightful complainants.
The achievement was made possible under the leadership of Khatoon Mohtasib Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ms. Rubab Mehdi, following due legal proceedings and official land measurement in the areas of Kawga and Chamla.
The resolution of the case reflects the office’s commitment to ensuring justice delivery, protecting women’s property rights, and addressing complex disputes that had remained unresolved for a long time.
Officials stated that such actions not only restore rightful ownership but also strengthen public trust in institutional mechanisms working for women’s empowerment and the rule of law.
