Quetta: Preventing harassment is not the responsibility of any single office or individual, but a shared obligation that depends on awareness, vigilance, and the willingness of every employee to speak up.
In line with its mandate to foster safe and dignified workplaces across Pakistan, the Regional Office of the Federal Ombudsperson Secretariat for Protection Against Harassment at the Workplace (FOSPAH), Quetta, conducted an awareness session at the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC), Quetta.
The session was led by Ms. Kalsoom Ishaq, Assistant Law Officer at FOSPAH’s Regional Office Quetta, who engaged participants in a thoughtful and wide-ranging discussion on the nature of workplace harassment. She walked attendees through the many forms harassment can take some overt, others subtle and easily normalized and explained how such behavior can quietly erode trust, morale, and productivity within an organization.
The session formed part of FOSPAH’s broader outreach efforts to institutionalize a culture of respect, inclusion, and accountability within public and private sector organizations, recognizing that lasting change begins with informed and empowered individuals at every level of the workplace.
