KARACHI — At the GenderTalks 3 session hosted by GIZ at TMA Karachi, Ms. Sabika Shah, Regional Head Karachi of the Federal Ombudsperson Secretariat for Protection Against Harassment (FOSPAH), underlined the importance of grievance mechanisms in fostering safe, just, and inclusive workplaces.

Speaking on the theme “Importance of Grievance Mechanisms for Harmonious Industrial Relations”, Ms. Shah highlighted that effective grievance systems are not only tools for redressal but also essential pillars of trust, fairness, and workplace harmony.

She reaffirmed FOSPAH’s commitment to supporting organizations in developing robust mechanisms that uphold the 2010 Protection Against Harassment of Women at the Workplace Act and ensure that both employers and employees work in an environment of dignity and respect.

The GenderTalks platform brought together diverse voices to promote dialogue, accountability, and gender equity in professional spaces, reinforcing the shared responsibility of building inclusive institutions across Pakistan.
