ISLAMABAD – The Federal Ombudsperson Secretariat for Protection Against Harassment (FOSPAH) organized an art exhibition titled “Workplace Harassment — Breaking the Silence” on December 1, 2025, in collaboration with the Pakistan National Council of Arts. The event brought together artists, students, professionals, and human rights advocates from across the country to encourage open dialogue, promote accountability, and highlight the need for safe workplaces in Pakistan.
The exhibition showcased more than 250 entries across three categories: handmade posters, digital art, and short videos. Participants used creative expression to challenge harassment, uplift survivors, and push for stronger systems of protection. A jury featuring Ms. Saba Zia, Ms. Noshaba Naz, and Ms. Sarah Rajper reviewed the submissions.
Addressing the audience, Federal Ombudsperson Ms. Fouzia Waqar stressed the importance of public awareness. She said that awareness is the first step toward meaningful change and that initiatives like this help society speak up with confidence.
Federal Minister for Law and Justice Mr. Azam Nazeer Tarar, who attended as Chief Guest, highlighted the value of collaborative efforts, solid legal frameworks, and community engagement in ensuring safe and respectful workplaces.
The exhibition drew senior officials, diplomats, civil society members, media representatives, and young artists. FOSPAH reaffirmed its commitment to improving awareness, accessibility, and institutional mechanisms to eliminate workplace harassment across the country.
