The Federal Ombudsman Secretariat for Protection against Harassment (FOSPAH) Regional Office Lahore organized an awareness session at Packages Limited, Irshad Hall, bringing together nearly 60 participants for an open dialogue on workplace harassment.

The session was attended by Ms. Syeda Henna Babar Ali, along with Ms. Ayesha Aziz, Group Sustainability Lead, and members of senior management, reflecting strong institutional support for creating safe and respectful work environments.

During the discussion, participants raised concerns regarding possible retaliatory actions against complainants, including those occurring beyond the workplace. Addressing these concerns, Ms. Lubna Ali, Regional Head FOSPAH Lahore, emphasized that the Protection against Harassment of Women at the Workplace Act, 2010 strictly prohibits any form of retaliation against complainants and witnesses.

The session also featured a detailed presentation by Ms. Noor Fatimah, Assistant Law Officer, who highlighted key aspects of awareness, legal rights, and available reporting mechanisms under the law.

The initiative reinforced the importance of breaking silence around workplace harassment and fostering a culture of accountability, awareness, and protection, ensuring that employees feel safe to speak up and seek justice.
