QUETTA: The Federal Ombudsperson Secretariat for Protection against Harassment (FOSPAH) Regional Office Quetta organized a series of awareness sessions at the People’s Primary Healthcare Initiative (PPHI-Balochistan), Quetta, to address workplace harassment and strengthen institutional protections for employees.
The initiative aimed to raise awareness about the harmful impact of harassment on institutions, including the erosion of trust, reduced morale, lower productivity, and the creation of hostile working environments that negatively affect professional growth and organizational integrity.
Four awareness sessions were conducted as part of the initiative. Presentations were delivered by Mr. Muhammad Usman, Assistant Registrar FOSPAH Quetta, along with Mr. Mohsin Sheikh, Law Officer FOSPAH Islamabad.
During the sessions, participants were provided comprehensive guidance on workplace ethics, legal safeguards against harassment, and the collective responsibility of institutions to ensure safe, inclusive, and respectful working environments for all employees.
The speakers emphasized that preventing harassment is not only a legal obligation but also essential for maintaining accountability, professionalism, and public trust within institutions.
The awareness campaign reflects FOSPAH’s continued commitment to promoting dignity at the workplace, strengthening institutional accountability, and ensuring safer and more equitable workplaces across the country.
