Peshawar – July 2025: The Federal Ombudsperson for Protection
against Harassment (FOSPAH) organized an informative awareness session at
NADRA’s Hayatabad Regional Office, aimed at strengthening understanding of
workplace rights and fostering a culture of safety and respect
Led by Ms. Amina Rafique, the session highlighted
the key provisions of the Protection Against Harassment of Women at the
Workplace Act, 2010. She elaborated on FOSPAH’s role in providing legal
protection, the step-by-step complaint filing process, and the responsibility
of organizations in forming effective inquiry committees.
Emphasizing the crucial role of management, Ms. Rafique called for proactive
policies and inclusive practices to create harassment-free workplaces. The
session was well-received by NADRA staff and underscored the need for
institutional commitment to uphold dignity and fairness in the professional
environment.
