Islamabad: The Federal Ombudsperson for Protection Against Harassment (FOSPAH), Hon’ble Ms. Fauzia Viqar, visited the Federal Ombudsman of Pakistan, Hon’ble Mr. Naveed Kamran Baloch, to discuss issues of mutual interest and explore possible avenues of collaboration between the two institutions.
The meeting focused on strengthening the legal framework for more effective redressal of complaints, and on advancing the women’s rights agenda through Pakistan’s engagement with the Asian Ombudsman Association (AOA), the presidency of which is permanently held by the Wafaqi Mohtasib (Federal Ombudsman).
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to institutional cooperation in furthering access to justice and protection of rights of citizens across Pakistan.
