ISLAMABAD – Ms. Fauzia Viqar, Federal Ombudsperson for Protection against Harassment, addressed under-training Deputy Superintendents of Balochistan Police at the National Police Academy on the topic “Gender and Civil Law Enforcement.”

In her address, she emphasized that adopting inclusive and rights-based approaches in law enforcement is crucial to ensuring justice and fairness. She highlighted that gender-sensitive policing not only strengthens institutional effectiveness but also enhances public trust in law enforcement agencies.
The session aimed to equip future police leaders with the knowledge and perspective necessary to create safe, respectful, and equitable environments for all citizens.
