ISLAMABAD: On the directives of Federal Ombudsman Mr. Ejaz Ahmad Qureshi, a team led by Director General Mr. Muhammad Ashfaq Ahmed and consultant Mr. Khalid Sial will hold an open court (Khuli Kachehri) on Friday, December 5, at 10:00 a.m. at the PWD Rest House in Mirpur, Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

According to a press release issued on Monday, local officers from relevant federal departments will also attend. During the session, officers from the Federal Ombudsman’s Secretariat will listen to public complaints against federal institutions and issue immediate directions to the concerned departments for quick resolution.
The initiative is part of the Federal Ombudsman’s Outreach Complaint Resolution program, which aims to deliver justice to citizens at their doorstep.
The Ombudsman has instructed officials from multiple federal agencies, including electricity and gas utilities, NADRA, the Benazir Income Support Programme, the Passport Office, Postal Life Insurance, State Life Insurance Corporation, and Pakistan Post Office, to ensure their participation in the open court.
