PESHAWAR, Oct 29: The Federal Ombudsman’s regional office in Peshawar, in partnership with the district administration of Nowshera, organized a joint open court (Khuli Katcheri) in Tehsil Jahangira to directly hear and resolve public complaints.

Held at Khushal Khan Khattak Degree College, Akora Khattak, the session was supervised by Assistant Commissioner Jahangira, Anis-ur-Rehman, and Director Federal Ombudsman Peshawar, Fawad Hanif.
The event saw participation from multiple federal departments, including revenue officials (Tehsildars, Girdawars, Patwaris), representatives from the TMA, Education Department, and other relevant line agencies.
Citizens voiced their concerns in an open forum, where both the Assistant Commissioner and Director of the Ombudsman’s Office provided immediate directives for resolving several issues on the spot. For unresolved matters, officials were tasked with prompt follow-up action to ensure timely redress.
The public was assured that their complaints would not be ignored and that the Federal Ombudsman’s Office remains committed to providing accessible and efficient grievance redressal mechanisms at the grassroots level.
