Faisalabad: The Federal Ombudsman Secretariat, Regional Office Faisalabad, facilitated the payment of Rs. 850,000 in outstanding pension arrears to Mr. Abdul Ghafoor, a retired employee of the Pakistan Post Office, providing him long-awaited relief.

According to the spokesperson, Mr. Abdul Ghafoor had filed a complaint with the Regional Office stating that his pension arrears had not been paid despite repeated visits to the concerned offices over the past two years. He approached the Federal Ombudsman after exhausting all departmental channels without success.

Upon receiving the complaint, the Regional Office Faisalabad took formal notice of the matter, summoned the relevant officials, and initiated scrutiny of the official record.
