SARGODHA, August 19, 2025 – The Federal Ombudsman Secretariat’s Regional Office in Sargodha, under the leadership of Regional Head Khawaja Saif-ur-Rehman, has successfully facilitated the recovery of Rs.39,82,000 in delayed payments for citizens.

According to an official press release, the long-pending cases were resolved after years of delay, bringing much-needed relief to pensioners and account holders. Muhammad Ashraf received Rs 1,040,000 from the GPO for a joint account, while pensioners collectively received Rs 29,870,85. Additionally, Gohar Khan from Bhera Tehsil was paid his pension amounting to Rs 855,326.
This achievement highlights the Ombudsman’s role in ensuring justice, accountability, and timely redressal of citizens’ grievances.
