Federal Ombudsman Meets Federal Tax Ombudsman to Strengthen Institutional Cooperation
The Federal Ombudsman, Mr. Naveed Kamran Baloch, paid a courtesy call on the Federal Tax Ombudsman, Mr. Zafar Hijazi, who also serves as President of Forum of Pakistan Ombudsman (FPO).
During the meeting, both dignitaries reaffirmed their shared commitment to strengthening the effectiveness and coordination of Pakistan’s ombudsman institutions, with a focus on enhancing service delivery and improving mechanisms for addressing public grievances.
The discussion highlighted the importance of collaboration between ombudsman bodies in ensuring efficient, transparent, and citizen-centered complaint resolution systems. Both sides emphasized that stronger institutional linkages can significantly contribute to promoting accountability and public trust.
The meeting reflects a continued commitment by Pakistan’s ombudsman institutions to work collaboratively in addressing citizens’ concerns and promoting good governance, in line with FPO’s mission to enhance transparency, accountability, and effective public service delivery among its member institutions.
