The Federal Ombudsman Regional Office Sukkur has taken immediate notice of administrative lapses and passenger hardships reported at Rohri Junction Railway Station, following concerns highlighted in electronic media.

Federal Ombudsman Ijaz Ahmed Qureshi has constituted a special team of senior officers from the Federal Ombudsman Secretariat, led by the Regional Head, to conduct an on-the-spot assessment of the situation.

The team has been tasked with preparing a comprehensive report for the Federal Ombudsman, identifying causes of the lapses and recommending remedial actions to ensure better service and accountability.

This swift move underscores the Federal Ombudsman’s commitment to protecting citizens’ rights, holding national institutions accountable, and improving public service delivery across the country.

The initiative is aimed at addressing passenger grievances and bringing about meaningful improvements in the management and facilities of Rohri Junction Railway Station, one of the key railway hubs in Sindh.
