Mr. Almas Ali Jovindah, Executive Secretary of the (FPO) Forum of Pakistan Ombudsman and Advisor Legal at the Federal Tax Ombudsman (FTO), participated in the United Nations Working Group meeting of International Ombudsman Institutions as a member of the UN Working Group.

The meeting brought together representatives of ombudsman institutions from various countries to discuss important issues related to governance, accountability, transparency, and the protection of citizens’ rights. Participants exchanged views on strengthening institutional frameworks and enhancing the role of ombudsman offices in ensuring fair, transparent, and effective public administration.
During the session, Mr. Almas Ali Jovindah highlighted the significance of international cooperation among ombudsman institutions and emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts to improve grievance redressal mechanisms and promote good governance practices worldwide.
His participation as a member of the UN Working Group reflects the growing international recognition and engagement of Pakistani ombudsman institutions, as well as their continued commitment to promoting justice, transparency, accountability, and public trust at both national and international levels.
