SUKKUR: Director General of the Federal Insurance Ombudsman Secretariat, Mubashir Naeem Siddiqui, visited the Sukkur Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Monday and held a meeting with the Chamber leadership.

During the visit, he met Chamber President Muhammad Khalid Kakizai, Convener Banking and Finance Committee Abdul Majeed Qureshi, former Vice President Muhammad Faisal Mughal, and Secretary General Muhammad Nauman Arain.
Speaking to the business community, DG Siddiqui informed them that traders and industrialists could directly approach the Federal Insurance Ombudsman office in Sukkur for the resolution of issues related to insurance policies, claims, and other insurance-related matters. He said the Ombudsman Secretariat offers speedy, transparent, and free redressal of complaints.
He also proposed the establishment of a special help desk at the Sukkur Chamber to strengthen coordination between the Chamber and the Federal Insurance Ombudsman Secretariat and to ensure timely assistance for Chamber members.
The Chamber officials welcomed the proposal and suggested holding an awareness session to educate members about the role, powers, and functions of the Federal Insurance Ombudsman.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the guests were presented with traditional Sindhi cap and Ajrak, along with a commemorative shield.
