Lahore: Provincial coordinators of Bedari, a national-level voluntary development organization, met with the Honourable Ombudsperson Punjab, Dr. Najma Afzal Khan, to discuss matters related to women’s rights and protection.
During the meeting, the representatives shared their concerns over ongoing violations of women’s rights and highlighted key challenges faced by women in different areas. They also discussed important measures needed to strengthen protection mechanisms and improve access to support and justice for women.
Dr. Najma Afzal Khan acknowledged the importance of collective efforts by government institutions and civil society organizations in safeguarding women’s rights. The meeting reflected a shared commitment to promoting dignity, protection, and empowerment of women across Punjab.
