Islamabad: An awareness session on the importance of legal protections against harassment was held at Bahria University Islamabad, where Mr. Mohsin Sheikh, Law Officer, addressed students on the significance of understanding their rights and responsibilities in academic and professional environments.

During the session, Mr. Mohsin Sheikh emphasized that harassment is not merely an individual issue but a societal concern that undermines trust, dignity, and the integrity of institutions. He highlighted the importance of raising awareness among young people, particularly students who are entering academic and professional spaces where knowledge of the law can serve as a vital safeguard against exploitation and misconduct.
He encouraged students to familiarize themselves with the legal protections available under anti-harassment laws, noting that awareness empowers individuals to stand against harassment, promote respect, and contribute to building safe and inclusive environments.
The session concluded with a call for collective responsibility in fostering respectful workplaces and educational institutions, where students and professionals alike can thrive in a secure and supportive atmosphere.
