ISLAMABAD / LAHORE: In a significant step toward bolstering public trust and digital governance across Pakistan’s ombudsman network, the Office of the Ombudsman Punjab a key member institution of the Forum of Pakistan Ombudsman (FPO) has achieved the prestigious ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Information Security Management System (ISMS) Certification.

The certification was awarded by SGS United Kingdom Limited, along with official accreditation from the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) under Certification No. PK26/00000111. The scope of this international certification covers both the Head Office and all 39 Regional Offices across the province.
This achievement highlights the ongoing dedication of FPO member institutions to modernizing administrative justice, safeguarding sensitive public data, and establishing robust cybersecurity controls. By adopting the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 framework, the Office of the Ombudsman Punjab strengthens its overall operational infrastructure, ensuring confidentiality, data integrity, and privacy protection for all citizens seeking grievance redressal.
