Lahore: The Office of the Ombudsman Punjab has secured Rs 64.1 million in financial relief for citizens through effective action on complaints lodged against the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA).

A total of 38 complaints relating to issues such as incorrect water bills, installation and restoration of water connections, and installation of water meters were taken up by the Office.
Following thorough investigations, the Ombudsman Punjab issued orders in accordance with the law, leading to the resolution of citizens’ grievances and financial relief amounting to Rs 64.1 million.
Through timely intervention and effective complaint resolution, the Office of the Ombudsman Punjab continues to ensure that citizens’ grievances are addressed and their rights are protected.
