Tashkent: The Office of the Ombudsman Punjab, a member of the Forum of Pakistan Ombudsman, participated in an international conference focused on human rights protection in the context of digital transformation, held in Uzbekistan on 20 August 2026.
The delegation was led by Ms. Ayesha Hamid, Ombudsman Punjab, and Mr. Kaiser Saleem, Secretary, Office of the Ombudsman Punjab. They were accompanied by Ms. Abeera Tanveer, Assistant Director, and Mr. Khalid Ali Goraya, Assistant Director (Coordination-II).
The conference brought together Ombudsman institutions and international representatives to deliberate on key contemporary issues, including women’s rights and gender equality in the digital world, protection of youth rights in the online environment, and inclusive digital services and equal participation for persons with disabilities.
