Karachi: The Federal Tax Ombudsman Secretariat, Regional Office Karachi, arranged a field visit to the Office of the Provincial Ombudsman Sindh for interns participating in its Summer Internship Programme.
During the visit, Honourable Provincial Ombudsman Sindh, Mr. Mohammad Sohail Rajput, along with his team, personally briefed the interns on the mandate, jurisdiction, functions, and working mechanisms of the institution.
The interns gained valuable practical insight into the role of the Provincial Ombudsman Sindh in addressing public complaints, providing relief against maladministration, and strengthening accountability within provincial public administration.
The visit also provided an opportunity for the interns to understand the distinct yet complementary mandates of Ombudsman institutions operating at federal and provincial levels and their collective contribution towards accessible justice and citizen-focused grievance redressal across Pakistan.
