As part of efforts to strengthen institutional learning and expose young professionals to Pakistan’s grievance redressal framework, interns of the Federal Tax Ombudsman Secretariat visited the Regional Office of the Federal Ombudsperson Secretariat for Protection Against Harassment (FOSPAH) in Peshawar.

The session was led by Assistant Registrar Ms. Madiha Altaf, who provided the interns with a comprehensive overview of FOSPAH’s mandate, jurisdiction, legal framework, complaint mechanism, and its role in promoting safe and harassment-free workplaces.
The visit enabled the interns to gain practical insight into the functioning of FOSPAH and to better understand how specialized Ombudsman institutions complement one another in providing accessible justice, protecting rights, and strengthening institutional accountability.
The Forum of Pakistan Ombudsman recognizes such knowledge sharing initiatives as an important means of promoting greater understanding of the collective role of Ombudsman institutions in advancing fairness, transparency, accountability, and effective grievance redressal.
