Abbottabad: The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Provincial Ombudsman Regional Secretariat has issued the Galiyat Development Authority (GDA) a notice over the transfer of 400 kanals of government land and forests in Thandiani to a private company.
The notice was issued on the complaint filed by citizen Shahid Rehan, a resident of Abbottabad, who approached the K-P Provincial Ombudsman Secretariat on June 13, 2026.
The Provincial Ombudsman Regional Office’s Deputy Registrar, while issuing the notice to the GDA under Section 10(4) of the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Provincial Ombudsman Act, 2010, directed the authority to respond to the allegations raised in the complaint regarding the land transfer.
