Lahore: Syed Nadeem Abbas, SSP Headquarters, Punjab Police, was welcomed at the office of Ombudsperson Punjab. The meeting was graced by the presence of Ombudsperson Punjab, Dr. Najma Afzal Khan, and Deputy Director Admin, Muhammad Akhtar.
During the session, discussions were held regarding the establishment of harassment-free workplaces across Punjab. It was emphasized that all departments are obligated to establish Inquiry Committees for the protection and empowerment of women, as mandated by the prescribed Code of Conduct.
A key highlight of the discussion was the ongoing, commendable collaboration between the Punjab Police and the Ombudsperson’s office. The shared vision remains clear: to create a safe, secure, and harassment-free environment across all institutions.
