Lahore: On 13th July 2026, the FOSPAH Regional Office, Lahore, conducted an awareness seminar at the National Academy for Prisons Administration (NAPA), District Jail, Lahore. The session was attended by approximately 20 participants, including correctional officers and students from the University of the Punjab, Lahore.

The presentation on the Protection Against Harassment of Women at the Workplace Act, 2010, was delivered by Ms. Noor Fatima, Assistant Law Officer, highlighting the scope of the law, the complaint mechanism, and the role of FOSPAH in ensuring a harassment-free work environment.
An interactive question and answer session was led by Ms. Lubna Ali, Regional Head/Advisor, Lahore. During the discussion, participants inquired about complaints filed by transgender persons before FOSPAH. It was explained that while the number of such complaints remains relatively low, the law serves as an important mechanism for safeguarding the dignity of transgender persons, promoting equal opportunities in education and employment, and ensuring access to legal redress against workplace harassment.
