RAWALPINDI: Reinforcing the collective commitment to creating safer educational environments, Ms. Aneesa Zeb, Assistant Registrar at the Federal Ombudsperson Secretariat for Protection Against Harassment (FOSPAH), participated as a panelist at the launch of the Joint Forces Alliance held at Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU).
The event was organized by Al Wilayat Organization in collaboration with the Sexual Harassment Committee of FJWU and relevant stakeholders, including police departments from Islamabad and Rawalpindi. The initiative brought together students, university representatives, law enforcement officials, and civil society actors to strengthen awareness and coordination on issues related to harassment prevention and victim support.
Speaking at the event, Ms. Aneesa Zeb highlighted the legal protections available to students and explained the complaint redressal mechanisms established to address cases of harassment. She emphasized the importance of accessible reporting systems, institutional accountability, and collective efforts to ensure safe and inclusive learning environments.
The launch of the Joint Forces Alliance reflects the growing role of educational institutions in fostering social change by encouraging dialogue, strengthening protection mechanisms, and empowering women through awareness and support. Ms. Zeb will continue to contribute as a panelist throughout the session, guiding stakeholders on enhancing protection measures and promoting a culture of respect and accountability across Pakistan.
