MIANWALI: An insightful awareness session was organized at Government Commerce College Mianwali by the Office of the Ombudsman Punjab to educate students and faculty members about public rights, grievance redressal mechanisms, and the importance of accountability in public service.

The session was conducted under the guidance of the Ombudsman Punjab, with valuable input from Dr. Khalid Hussain, Consultant Regional Offices Bhakkar and Mianwali, who highlighted important procedures related to complaint handling, citizen facilitation, and access to justice.

Addressing the participants, Dr. Khalid Hussain emphasized the role of awareness and civic responsibility in strengthening transparency and public trust within institutions. He also informed students about the services provided by the Ombudsman Office and the mechanisms available for resolving public complaints effectively and fairly.

The session witnessed active participation from students and faculty members and served as an important platform for promoting awareness regarding citizens’ rights and institutional accountability.
