Karachi: The Brand Ambassador Program under the Sindh Ombudsman was held at Ziauddin University Clifton, with Provincial Ombudsman Sindh Muhammad Sohail Rajput attending as the chief guest.

Addressing the students, Mr. Rajput briefed participants on the role of the Ombudsman’s office in providing free and prompt resolution of public complaints against government departments. He said the institution plays an important role in improving administrative accountability and ensuring accessible justice for citizens.
He noted that students represent the country’s bright future and are increasingly active in innovation, digital engagement, and social media platforms. He emphasized that participation in social service initiatives helps students build professional skills, develop leadership qualities, and contribute positively to society.
Vice Chancellor Dr. Muhammad Ali Shaikh appreciated the initiative and offered to expand the program across all campuses of the university. He also referred to his past experience with the Ombudsman institution and highlighted the importance of student engagement in public service.
Faculty members, advisors, and a large number of students attended the session. A question-and-answer segment was also held, allowing students to discuss the Ombudsman’s role and public complaint redressal process.
The event concluded with an exchange of commemorative shields between the Sindh Ombudsman and Ziauddin University.
