The Provincial Ombudsperson Khyber Pakhtunkhwa organized an open court and awareness session in Bacha Khan Hall, Bannu, aimed at identifying and addressing issues faced by women and ensuring their effective resolution.

The event was held with the active cooperation and support of the district administration, making the initiative a success. Commissioner Bannu Division Captain (R) Khalid Mehmood, Regional Police Officer Sajjad Khan, Deputy Commissioner Bannu Muhammad Faheem, and Deputy Commissioner Lakki Marwat Hameedullah Khattak attended the session and played a key role in facilitating the proceedings.

The open court provided a platform for women to highlight their concerns, while relevant authorities worked towards immediate and practical solutions. The session also served as an important awareness initiative, encouraging women to come forward and seek justice.

Officials from various departments, along with students and members of civil society, participated in the event, contributing to meaningful discussions and effective engagement. Their presence reflected a collective commitment by institutions to address women’s issues, safeguard their rights, and ensure access to justice.

Provincial Ombudsperson Ms. Rabab Mehdi expressed appreciation for the support of all stakeholders and reaffirmed her commitment to protecting women’s rights, promoting awareness, and ensuring timely justice across the province.
