KPK Ombudsperson Holds Open Court at District Council Kohat
The Ombudsperson of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), a member of the Forum of Pakistan Ombudsman (FPO), organized an open court at the District Council Kohat on 2 April 2026, in collaboration with the Commissioner Kohat.

The open court was aimed at providing citizens with direct access to the Ombudsman institution and facilitating the prompt resolution of public grievances. The initiative reflects ongoing efforts to bring justice closer to the people and strengthen trust in public institutions.
During the session, citizens presented their complaints related to various administrative issues, which were heard and addressed on the spot. Relevant officials were also present to ensure immediate action and follow-up on the complaints raised.
The Ombudsperson emphasized the importance of such outreach activities in promoting transparency, accountability, and effective service delivery. The open court also provided an opportunity to raise public awareness about the role and functions of the Ombudsman institution.
This initiative underscores the commitment of the KPK Ombudsperson to enhance accessibility, ensure timely redress of grievances, and strengthen citizen engagement in governance.
