LARKANA: The Regional Director for the Provincial Ombudsman Sindh, Mr. Ali Akbar Jagirani, emphasized that issues faced by serving and retired government employees must be resolved without delay.

Addressing an open forum (Khuli Kachehri) at the District Accounts Office Larkana, he stressed that salaries, pensions, GP Fund, and other dues should be released promptly after fulfilling legal requirements. He added that cases encountering obstacles should be referred to the Accountant General Sindh for resolution.
Mr. Jagirani highlighted that employees with pending dues, especially GP Fund and pensions, should receive timely payments to avoid hardship. He also directed officials to submit a detailed report outlining employees who have received payments and those still awaiting them.
On the occasion, District Accounts Officer Larkana, Mr. Zamir Hussain Khokhar, stated that efforts are being made to address all employee issues without delay. However, he noted that employees must ensure submission of complete documentation and fulfillment of legal formalities.
Additional District Accounts Officer Larkana, Mr. Abdul Fattah Soomro, instructed staff to prioritize and immediately resolve cases, particularly those involving GP Fund and other pending dues.
During the open forum, around 12 applications were received and addressed on the spot. Applicants included Mr. Nadeem Ahmed Issani, Mr. Najamuddin, Mr. Hakim Ali Brohi, Ms. Safia Bano, Mr. Deedar Ali Channa, and others. Orders were issued accordingly.
The forum was also attended by Accountant Mr. Hamid Ali Abro, Mr. Irfan Ali Umrani, Auditor Mr. Naeem Ahmed Solangi, and other concerned officials.
