Islamabad: The Honorable Federal Tax Ombudsman, Mr. Zafar Hijazi, called on the newly appointed Wafaqi Mohtasib (Federal Ombudsman), Mr. Naveed Kamran Baloch, to congratulate him on assuming office.
During the meeting, both dignitaries discussed matters of mutual interest and emphasized the importance of strengthening coordination among ombudsman institutions in Pakistan to enhance the effectiveness of public grievance redressal mechanisms.
They reiterated their shared commitment to working collaboratively to promote accountability, transparency, and the protection of citizens’ rights, while further strengthening the role of ombudsman institutions in delivering timely justice and improved public service across the country.
