QUETTA: Tahira Baloch has formally assumed the office of the Hon’ble Provincial Ombudsperson, Balochistan, under the Protection Against Harassment of Women at the Workplace Act, 2016.
Her appointment marks an important step in strengthening institutional mechanisms aimed at safeguarding women’s rights and ensuring safe, harassment-free workplaces across the province. As Provincial Ombudsperson, Madam Tahira Baloch will oversee the implementation of the law, address workplace harassment complaints, and promote awareness of legal protections available to women.
Her leadership reflects a continued commitment to justice, accountability, and effective grievance redress, reinforcing the province’s dedication to protecting women in both public and private sector workplaces throughout Balochistan.
