A team from the Wafaqi Mohtasib Secretariat, Regional Office Peshawar, conducted an inspection of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) in Parachinar, Upper Kurram, to review service delivery and public facilitation.
The inspection team comprised Mr. Bakhtiar Gul, Deputy Advisor and Incharge SADDA Cell, Mr. Salahuddin, Deputy Director, and Mr. Javed Iqbal, Assistant. During the visit, the team examined the overall functioning of BISP with special emphasis on the quality of services being provided to beneficiaries.
In addition, an on-site hearing of public complaints was held at the ADC Conference Room, Parachinar, under the chairmanship of Mr. Bakhtiar Gul. Members of the public presented their grievances, which were heard attentively, and necessary directions were issued to the concerned officials on the spot for immediate redressal.
According to officials, the Wafaqi Mohtasib Secretariat continues to carry out field inspections and on-the-spot hearings to ensure timely resolution of public complaints and to provide justice at the doorstep of citizens.
