KARACHI: The Sindh Ombudsman Office has released its performance report for the year 2025, revealing that more than 25,000 public complaints related to various government departments were received during the year.

According to the report, over 12,000 complaints were decided, while more than 7,000 complaints were dismissed at the initial scrutiny stage. In addition, over 2,500 complaints were resolved through informal means.
Commenting on the performance, Sindh Ombudsman Muhammad Sohail Rajput said that in 2024, his office had received more than 9,000 complaints, highlighting a significant increase in public engagement with the institution.
He added that the Sindh Ombudsman Office remains committed to providing timely and transparent redress of public grievances and strengthening accountability within government departments.
