PESHAWAR: As part of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence, FAST-NUCES Peshawar hosted an awareness engagement under the theme “Hum Badlein Ge Soch,” focusing on cyber harassment and workplace harassment and their impact on the safety and dignity of young people.
The session was led by the Honourable Federal Ombudsperson for Protection Against Harassment, Ms. Fauzia Viqar, who guided students through their legal rights, available protections, and safe reporting mechanisms. She emphasized the importance of recognising harmful behaviours early and responding through lawful and responsible channels.
Participants engaged in discussion on navigating digital spaces responsibly, understanding professional boundaries, and fostering accountability in academic and work environments. The session strengthened students’ capacity to challenge harassment, support peers, and advocate for safer online and professional spaces.
The engagement reflected FOSPAH’s continued commitment to youth outreach, legal awareness, and prevention of harassment through informed dialogue and collective responsibility.
