MULTAN: Addressing the persistent silence surrounding workplace harassment, the Federal Ombudsperson Secretariat for Protection Against Harassment (FOSPAH) conducted an awareness seminar at the Airport Security Force (ASF) Multan to promote informed reporting and institutional support.

The seminar was led by Ms. Lubna Ali, Regional Head FOSPAH Lahore, along with the team from the Multan Sub-Regional Office. The session focused on breaking taboos associated with reporting harassment and emphasized that silence often stems from social barriers rather than a lack of legal protection.
Senior ASF officials, including the Chief Security Officer and Deputy Director Admin, attended the session alongside ASF staff. Participants were briefed on the legal framework governing workplace harassment, the complaint mechanism under the law, and the role of institutions in safeguarding dignity and confidence at the workplace.
The seminar concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session, during which participants raised key concerns related to reporting procedures, confidentiality, and protection against retaliation. The engagement reinforced the message that awareness, trust in institutions, and collective responsibility are essential to creating harassment-free work environments.
The initiative reflects FOSPAH’s continued commitment to strengthening workplace awareness and supporting individuals who choose to speak up against harassment.
