As part of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence, Federal Ombudsperson Ms. Fauzia Viqar joined university students from across Peshawar for a Badge Pinning Ceremony held under the theme “Hum Badlein Ge Soch.”

The ceremony brought together young people committed to challenging silence around harassment and unlearning harmful social norms. Through the symbolic pinning of badges, students pledged to uphold respect, promote equality, and help create safer and more inclusive spaces within their campuses and communities.
The engagement highlighted the vital role of youth in driving social change and reinforced the message that lasting progress begins when young voices choose courage, awareness, and accountability.
