FAISALABAD/KAMALIA, Nov: Advisor to the Federal Ombudsman, Mr. Shahid Hussain Jillani, has reiterated the institution’s commitment to providing speedy, free, and effective justice, making it clear that delays in resolving public grievances will not be tolerated.

He expressed these views during an open court held at the WAPDA Complex in Kamalia, where a large number of citizens appeared to voice their concerns—primarily regarding FESCO services.

Mr. Jillani attentively listened to the complaints and issued on-the-spot instructions to FESCO officials for immediate resolution. He emphasized that the purpose of such open courts is to create direct engagement between the public and government bodies, ensuring that issues are addressed without bureaucratic delays.

“The doors of the Federal Ombudsman are always open to every citizen,” he assured, adding that no one will be denied access to justice.

The session was attended by representatives from FESCO, district administration officials, and members of the media.
